This training aims to support the development of culturally appropriate services for older Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Intersex and Queer
(LGBTIQ) people. The training includes a mix of interactive activities, discussion and tips in a safe and non-judgemental environment*. Our training is delivered by people who have lived LGBTIQ experience which they share to provide a further learning opportunity.

Speakers: Sally Goldner and Kathi Wilson
Sally has been actively involved in Melbourne’s queer community for the last twenty years. This includes ongoing involvement with TransGender Victoria (now as Treasurer), presenter of 3 CR’s “Out of the Pan,” Treasurer of Bisexual Alliance Victoria and co-facilitator of Transfamily.
Kathi has training in psychological research, and has worked in counselling for a number of years. During 2011-2014, she served on the committee of Bisexual Alliance Victoria and ran education sessions on bisexuality and joined Transgender Victoria’s training team in 2014. Kathi’s passion is ensuring that people are aware of the issues faced by people who are LGBTIQ, and helping upskill allies and professionals to support people in this area.1
